After a lot of consideration the fee structure has been revised in relation to where the consultations take place.

The basic cost of a consultation is £200 regardless of whether the family want general advice or a tailor made programme, since the same amount of time is allocated for each visit. For those families who prefer the consultation to take place in their own home additional costs have been calculated to include fuel, time spent travelling and where necessary overnight accommodation. Costs of home consultations are therefore as follows:

Within a 50 mile radius of Swansea £250
Between 50 and 150 miles from Swansea £300
More than 150 miles from Swansea £350

The cost of consultations held in Scotland and Ireland may be higher depending on the exact location and the most efficient means of transport.

Where a family opts for a structured programme, with follow up consultations and e-mail and telephone support in between, they will be asked to set up a standing order for monthly payments of £50, commencing the month after the initial consultation, to cover this. This includes the cost of further visits at 6 monthly intervals - additional consultations can be requested but will be charged for separately.

Payment by cheque is requested at the time of booking a consultation.

Families outside the UK are welcome to ask for a consultation but obviously the cost will be recalculated to cover travel and time spent away. If more than one family from a country apply the additional costs will be shared between them.
